Canine Good Citizen (or CGC) is a certification course measuring good behavior both at home and in the community.  This 10-step, two part program focuses on responsible pet ownership and positive dog behavior.  Dogs that pass the CGC program receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.  

Canine Good Citizen can be an important first building block for other AKC activities such as agility, tracking, and other performance based activities.  Join our next CGC course and learn the benefits of training your dog and the bond that will develop as a result.
