Jennifer Loyless, MS, CPDT has been a life long lover of all animals, owning dogs, cats, birds, turtles, hamsters and fish. Her first love, however, has always been canine.

Prior to her work in the canine training profession, Jennifer completed her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Texas and has worked for over six years in the mental health field. This counseling experience provides Jennifer a unique know-how to help humans use psychologically sound behavior shaping techniques, while strengthening their relationships with their dogs.

In 2000 she introduced herself to Tracy Atkins, Head Trainer of Complete Canine Training, Inc. (CCT) of McKinney, Texas (now Houston, TX). It was then she realized it was possible to combine her extensive professional education and passion for dogs.

Jennifer began training dogs and their humans in 2001 at CCT, under the direct tutelage of Tracy Atkins. She apprenticed for three years gradually earning the titles of Group Class Instructor and Private Trainer.

Jennifer has trained and boarded numerous dogs. She continues her professional status and attends yearly accredited dog behavior, training and health seminars. She also continues to read extensive and advanced canine literature.  She is now a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for the American Kennel Club.  In 2009, Jennifer became a Certified Pet Dog Trainer through the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

She is well versed in the use and effectiveness of both positive behavior shaping and traditional coercive methods. However, Jennifer's basic philosophy is based on a system of "setting dogs up for success" and positive motivational methods. This provides a fun and effective learning environment that enriches the relationship between dog and human by bridging the communication gap, resulting in happier and more peaceful households.

Jennifer Loyless and her family reside in Rowlett, Texas. Luke, her eight-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever and Chewy, her eleven year-old domestic long hair cat are best friends to she and her husbands two toddler sons.

Jennifer is accomplished and experienced. Seek Canine Success even if you've not experienced results with other programs.
